Utilize found materials to accelerate or activate new processes in the territory.
The project focuses on the slag found on site, a unique material intertwined with the territory’s complex network. By studying and manipulating the slag, the proposal aims to enhance ecological conditions through four key actions:

_The Cove: Remove slag from the northern end to rehabilitate the site and use the fragments for habitable spaces.
_The Catcher: Insert devices along the coast to encourage intertidal zone growth.
_The Hidden Line: Create an incision on the south berm to reconnect pond waters with the river.
_The Crack: Reconnect elevations to allow rainwater to erode reclaimed land, restoring the intertidal zone over time.

Each intervention not only activates natural processes but also invites visitors to experience and understand the ongoing ecological changes. The project uses slag to construct pathways, stairs, and walls, creating spaces that highlight the effort and time required for ecological restoration.
